Scuba Diving Day Trips & Liveaboard Cancellation..

We will accept and confirm your bookings only when we have received full payment .

Our policy on scuba diving day trip online bookings, if the trip is canceled due to severe weather conditions, or reasons outside of our control and we are unable to offer an alternative then we will refund the full trip amount or offer you an alternative option if available.

If you wish to cancel any scuba diving day trip booking made online the notice period required to cancel the online order/booking is 48hrs prior to departure of a confirmed booking to receive a refund, this request must be within 48 hrs of departure via an email sent to godivephuket@gmail.com  –  Note we won’t accept phone calls or text messages in the middle of the night, or digital communications other than email. If you cancel less than 48hrs before the trip “No refund”

Note that if you cancel a day trip before the 48 hr notice period for whatever reason we will look to offer an alternative trip. The refunded payment method is the same as the original payment method.

If you fail to attend a trip, fail to wake up on time, turn up drunk, cancel last moment for whatever reason including genuine sickness, motorbike accidents, flight delays, not showing up in the morning, or any other reason whatsoever not listed here, “No refund” we recommend that you take out additional holiday insurance cover for uninsured losses.

For refunds on liveaboard bookings please notify us 45 days prior to departure in order to receive a refund minus 30% of the trip costs 

If guests decide they don’t want to dive once they are on any dive boat, for any personal reason, including seasickness, equalization problems, and any other reason not listed here, it is the same as canceling and we cannot offer any refund any portion of the trip. “No refund”

Any request to cancel within the time limits stated above must be made via an email to godivephuket@gmail.com stating the trip date booking reference number, and a contact number for your hotel quoting room number. We do not accept any cancellations via whats app.. 

If you cancel within the time limits stipulated we will happily credit your credit card or original method of payment 

Refunds on canceled diving courses 

Our policy on scuba diving course bookings: If you have booked any scuba diving course and cancel less than 48 hrs the day before you are due to commence the course we will charge you 50 % of the course) we will refund any remaining money owed. for full remaining unused days. The refunded payment method is the same as the original payment method

If any training course day is canceled due to severe weather conditions, or reasons outside of our control and we are unable to offer an alternative day for training that fits in with your holiday then we will refund the remaining days minus any days already used. The refunded payment method is the same as the original payment method.

Refunds on Instore or website purchases for scuba diving or swimming equipment 

Our refund and returns policy on scuba equipment and swimming equipment purchased in-store or online lasts 30 days.

If You have purchased an item of equipment and are still in Phuket please contact our store for advice on exchanging the product. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Defective items can be returned free of charge by post within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products –  online eLearning 
  • Some health and personal care items –  snorkels 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. if your claim is approved defective items will be replaced for a new item, if we are unavailable to exchange the item we will happily refund, the payment method is the same as the original payment method.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Paper Book with obvious signs of use. “No refund”.
  • online learning courses that’s been started and been opened. “No refund”.
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. “No refund”.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery “No refund”.

Refunds 

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 7 days if your claim is approved defective items will be replaced for a new item, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a further 10 days

Late or missing refunds that we have processed 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact us

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {phuketdivetours@gmail.com} and send your item to {Phuket Dive Tours 95 Pakbang Karon Phuket 83100}. We will pay shipping costs

Gifts 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift voucher for the value of your return.“No refund”. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
