We use large modern steel dive boats built to modern safety standards that are better equipped to handle ocean conditions, making them a more reliable choice for dive customers. Food is cooked freshly on the boat and the boat is large enough for you to stretch your legs, sunbathe or sleep while visiting the dive sites. These big boats protect you from the wind, rain and the tropical sun. Steel boats for scuba diving are generally safer than old wooden boats due to their superior structural integrity, durability, and fire resistance. Unlike wood, steel hulls are less susceptible to rot, warping, or termite damage, which can compromise the vessel’s strength over time. Steel boats also offer better impact resistance and are more stable in rough seas, providing a safer platform for divers to gear up and enter the water. Additionally, steel is non-flammable, reducing the risk of onboard fires—an important safety consideration on any dive boats carrying compressed gases and fuel.

Most boat dives from Chalong Pier depart between 7:30–8:00 AM. Arrive at our dive shop 30 minutes early for check-in.

Is transportation provided from other parts of Phuket?

Yes, free round trip hotel transfers are available from selected areas. Contact us for pickup zones.

Is equipment rental included?

I recently completed a PADI certification course with Victor, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. Over the three days, not only did I have a lot of fun, but I also received great instructive training that went beyond just scuba diving.

Victor has a unique teaching style; he dives deep (pun intended!) into the science behind diving. He explained concepts related to earth, motion sickness, and the mechanics of breathing in a way that made everything clear and engaging. His ability to explain "the why of the why" truly sets him apart as an instructor. I could feel his passion on what he does and teach with patience as I am not always the most disciplined one 🤣

Before starting the course, I was quite nervous about diving deep in the ocean again but excited . In fact it was only my second time diving in open water after Ishigaki, and that first experience left me feeling a bit out of control ( my hand hit the corail and i felt bad about it as i didn’t know how to breath properly) . However, Victor's guidance helped me overcome my fears every day bit by bit . By the end of the course, I felt much more confident in my abilities to float, breathe properly, and flow with the water—whether my lungs were full or empty.

Overall, I highly recommend Victor’s PADI course to anyone looking to learn scuba diving. His expertise, patience, diligence and enthusiasm made all the difference in my experience!

I dove with Kan and she was lovely. The gear is good and the staff of the boat are efficient. I felt very safe with this center. They are also very serious in the morning with the pick-up time and that’s enjoyable. They are constantly reachable on WhatsApp.
Absolutly everything was fine. I hardly recommand.
