We had a whole-day 3-dive tour (Racha Yai+Racha Noi islands), which me (first timer) and my wife (advanced license) greatly enjoyed.First of all, big thanks to our instructor Emily. She has been attentive, polite, humorous, made serious effort to make our experience great&accomodate our wishes. Probably could've devoted the whole text limit to her, but I have some more nice things to mention.My 3rd dive was with Lem (sorry if it's Lam, I'm not sure) he's been great, he took so many photos underwater and monitored our group effortlessly.The boat (Freedom dolphin) was not crowded at that day as it seemed to me. Everyone got space to rest, eat, get ready for diving. But it's all good until you hit someone with a weight belt, so it's necessary that you check your surroundings on the lower deck.The staff has helped me and others to gear up. The gear was IMO ok and objectively ready in time. The ship was clean. We had enough anti-nausea meds and water (both drinking and technical). The food was fine but spicy.Shuttle bus was on time and air-conditioned.The only thing that might've ruined our mood was that we had some miscommunication with the sales manager in the office. Despite that I had a suspicion that geographic (distances between sites and depth: some routes are for the licensed divers, some may be explored without one, Racha is the easy one in the south, Shark Point/King Cruiser route is the harder one in the east) and time limitations made so that most companies here have like 2-3 whole day tours and there's not much freedom in picking the exact dive sites, I asked the salesperson in two different ways whether me and my wife could have 1 separate dive - she goes to the King Cruiser Wreck (license needed) while I go elsewhere later. Turns out, that's not an option, but our instructor Emily made it possible for my wife to have a fun dive. Big thanks to Emily!Overall, wonderful experience, strongly recommend.Max

We had a wonderful experience diving at Phi Phi islands with Lam & Jack from Phuket Dive tours. Right from the beginning of approaching them the conversation has been very friendly and descriptive enough. David from the main office helped us with the details and the planning, charting and pickup was very good. The boat is well organized and toilets are clean, we being beginners Lam and Jack have explained everything very well and had briefed us well before each dive and have us tips for breathing and bouyancy. We are looking forward to come back and dive with Phuket dive tours and thank you for the entire team for all the arrangements.

Johan and Tim are very good mans and the are best instructors. Phi phi 3 dive sites was very wonderful places. Koh bida nok, turtle rock and shark point are the best diving places in Phuket. Amazing trip. Training was so comfortable and patient. Glad we did the swimming pool first with Tim. Then 4 dives and snorkeling with Somkid in the ocean. good at accommodating for English. 2nd time booking with Phuket Dive Tours. This time did 3 dive at Phi Phi. Excellent service. Had Lam as our dive guide, saw plenty of beautiful wildlife including some black tip sharks. Visibility was good for all 3 sites. Lunch was delicious, definitely will book again next time. Great staff. Worth the money.

It was an amazing experience! Along with our dive master Iam, we were able to see turtles dancing together, groups of yellow fish and baracounda, black fin sharks, corals and so many other beautiful creatures! An unforgettable experience.

We enjoyed today’s three fun dives so much. Luckily very spontaneous booking was possible (3 pm on the day before).We went to Phi Phi, saw sharks, turtles, rays, pufferfish, cloud fish and so much more.Lem was an amazing dive master that made us feel safe and knew his way around the sites very well.Overall: Nice shop with lots of different options for dive sites, boat types etc. Good equipment. We had an amazing 3 dives with Pascal visiting the Racha Islands! We saw so many beautiful fish and visited shipwrecks, had great visibility and not big dive groups! Pascal ensured we felt comfortable (it was our first dive in two years), explained everything we needed and was a great guide to follow. The boat was also great with lots of food to eat and drinks to stay hydrated between dives. Thoroughly recommend going with Phuket Dive Tours!

Had the best first scuba diving experience! We saw a sea turtle, eel, sting ray and so many rainbow colored fish! High recommend this diving company. Great diving and good food provided for lunch. Second day was even better in the phi phi islands. Lem lead our dives and was great at point out fish and encouraging us between dives. My wife and I had a wonderful first dive here with KAN, our instructor. She did not hurry us into it as we were afraid might be the case. She took the time to slowly get us acquainted with everything we'd need for the dive. Unfortunately the corals in the beach dive are fewer than we'd hoped, but nevertheless I would recommend this place to anyone looking for options for their first dive.David and Benz were really helpful too. They took the time to explain everything and answer every one of the hundreds of questions we had!

Today I had a day trip to the Phi Phi Islands (3 dives) with Pascal as a dive guide. Our group only consisted of one other person, which I found very pleasant. Pascal is a very courteous, attentive and personable guide and can absolutely be recommended! He took care of everything both on board and in the water and explained and showed us a lot! The organization of the dive center was also optimal!It was a very nice experience and absolutely recommended!Update: I had another 3 dive day trip with this company today, this time to Racha Noi. This time too, our group only consisted of two people plus our dive instructor Victor. Victor is very competent, personable and well organized! I can absolutely recommend him too!

We had 3 lovely dives today. The first 2 where to the phi phi islands here we saw a turtle and beautifull corals. Our dive master Tim was really helpfull with getting our equipment ready and he got us in the first dive group so that we would have the most chance to see sharks and such animals that are easily scared.

We had a really great first dive experience here. Our guides Lam and Emily were excellent, able to tailor the experience to my partner and my skill level.Experience was ~3.5 hours. We started in the pool by the dive shop learning the equipment and basic techniques. We then drove ~5 min to Kata Beach for a 45 min supervised dive ~8M deep, where we saw many interesting fish. Lam also took photos/videos we were able to purchase after.Would highly recommend!

Today’s 3 beginner dive trip was a very fun experience. The instructor, Johan, was very welcoming and helpful, and it was never a situation where safety was not taken into account. The trip itself includes a boat trip to 3 different diving areas where one can see most of Thailand’s beautiful fishes, corals and other species. The food was great, and they even served pancakes at the end of the day!I will therefore recommend this trip to anyone who wants to try scuba diving in Thailand.

Had a wonderful time today with Mama Mod as my guide on a refresher dive. She's such a friendly and experienced diver, and made sure that everything went safely. She got me up to speed again with all the techniques, and that freed up more time for exploring the dive spots as well.I really appreciated how smoothly everything went from the arranged pickup at the hotel, boarding the boat, and even the gear was all ready on board. It was an enjoyable experience and I'll definitely look them up for future dives when I'm in Phuket again.

I went diving with Somkit from Phuket Dive Tours Patong and it was fab! I did the dive refresher on the Koh Phi Phi 3 dive day. The refresher was needed as I hadn’t been diving in 2 years and the refresher made me feel very comfortable.Kit was amazing at guiding me under the water and made me feel very safe. Saw lots of cool fish (and a shark and turtle!!) and nice coral.I was also by myself on the boat and he came and sat with me often!Thank you so much 💕

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Phuket Dive Tours for two incredible days spent completing the Wreck Diver course. A special shoutout to my amazing instructor, Alla, who made this adventure truly unforgettable.During the course, I discovered that wrecks aren’t just sunken ships but also include other artificial structures submerged by humans, such as cubes, fish cages, and artificial reefs. We practiced measuring distances between objects, gauging their sizes in fin kicks, tying lines, and working with a reel.The highlight of the course was the dive at King Cruiser, where we had the thrilling experience of entering and exploring the wreck in complete darkness, navigating with flashlights and focusing on buoyancy control. We also captured some stunning photos and videos—vivid, colorful, and simply breathtaking.During our dives, we encountered a variety of marine life, including small sharks, moray eels, sea urchins, groupers, a tiny turtle, and many other fascinating creatures of the local fauna and flora.I can’t wait for another opportunity to dive with this fantastic dive center.Thank you, Phuket Dive Tours, for the emotions, experiences, and memories!

I had an perfect day trip with Dive guide Tomaz from Phuket Dive tours with Dive partner Victoria from Ukraine. We made three dives in The Phi Phi Islands. We did the Racha island diving tour. This was our first dive so we were all very nervous. Our instructors Lam and Kid were very patient and helpful in explaining all the diving related terms and also helped us calm our nerves before the dive. Overall it was a very worthwhile experience for us.

Wonderful day of diving. From the first hour to the end everything was great. Our guide Sila is a professional. We did 3 dives at different points, Phi Phi and Shark Point where we saw a multitude of fish, turtles and other animals in a beautiful coral environment.Throughout the day they gave us breakfast, lunch, ice cream and a snack. The experience has been a 10. Totally recommended.

Excellent tour(Advanced Adventurer Course), well organized with friendly and helpful staff, where you are going to visit beautiful diving spots, with rich maritime life.Johan was an amazing instructor and made sure we had a great experience while diving deep in theory and the open ocean. He was precise in formulating a dive plan that was easy to follow, while making sure we learn and apply the knowledge the right way. Also he looked out that we can enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery and wildlife while doing so.The crew on the boat was always helpful and observant, the food was great.Highly recommend for beginners or if you seek to to take the next steps in your diving adventure.

The crew here is the best - I’ve had a lovely experience doing a beach dive and signed up for Advanced SSI with them. Emily and David have been nothing but lovely and supportive and sorting me out short notice - and Tim, my advanced instructor is a sweetheart - kind, attentive, super on point, I felt well taken care of and he helped with my position in the water so I could achieve actual neutral buoyancy after a year of diving!! Had a great time on the diving trip organised by this dive shop. They picked me up from my hotel in Patong and took me to the pier in Phuket.I was paired with my dive guide, Mr. Ohm, who turned out to be a great guide. He made sure we stayed safe, spotted some cool marine life that I totally missed (as I usually do) and took some nice snaps of me which I could later copy from his camera (for a fee but it was worth it). He was also looking after my rented gear in the somewhat chaotic environment of the chartered dive boat, and he made sure I didn't get lost during disembarking.The only suggestion I would have is for Mr Ohm to check what resolution the customer would like the videos taken - I believe 4k or at least Full HD is more appropriate than 720p these days, but it was my fault for not asking about that before diving.Overall, a very good experience and nice, relaxing dives with nice views under the expert supervision of Mr Ohm. Thank you!

My husband and I had the best time with Phuket Dive Tours Patong! We did two full days of diving including Racha Noi and the Phi Phi 3 Dive Day Trips. We did a refresher as part of the Racha Noi trip as it had been a while since our last dives.The diving was amazing, and both dive guides were fantastic ensuring that we were all set with safety, equipment (we rented equipment too), and anything else we needed. We saw coral, fish, turtles, and octopus, sharks, and so many amazing things (see the photos)!Logistics were easy, David answered all my questions via Whatsapp and booking was easy online. We stopped by the shop day before and were fit with all our gear then (simpler than on the boat). The pickup from the hotel was easy and we were kept updated via Whatsapp.The food (breakfast, snacks, drinks, lunch, snacks) on the boat was delicious and they had everything you needed. The dive groups are small which is lovely it was the two of us with the guide for the Racha Noi trip, and one other couple and the guide at Phi Phi.As with all the boat trips we've been on, it's controlled chaos getting off the boat and keep in mind that it's 50-ish people diving so it's often a hurry-up and wait situation. Once in the water, though, it's so worth it. Shout out to Kan our guide at Phi Phi, she was amazing!!! Go, you'll love it!!

We did our SSI Advanced Adventurer with Tim and had such a great time. Tim kept us super safe, took a lot of time to explain everything and practice all exercises. He took care of all equipment and fixed my fins on the ride. We've seen lots of fish, manta, morays... during the courses. We had Kan as our dive instructor and she was awesome ! Made sure everyone was safe and successful! Saw so much cool stuff. It was me and my friend who has never dived before and it was almost like we had a private class . One other guy was in our group who was awesome . She took us all around and it is really awesome that this company follows you with a GoPro camera and didn’t charged a ton of money for only one photo. We paid next to nothing for tons and tons of amazing videos and photos ! Totally awesome and would absolutely book with them again! Ask for Kan. She was awesome 🙂

We had such an amazing time with our instructor Tim, and he truly made us so comfortable, despite our excitement and expectations prior to completion. Tim was great, both at teaching us and being patient with us while under the water. I truly recommend him and his team for your certification or a dive in Phuket and islands nearby. Did an open diving course with my friend under Tim Mayor.The course was smooth and Tim was good at getting us to learn the skills fast in a calm environment.We visited banana bay, manta bay at racha noi and bay 1 at racha yai.We booked the course for 6 dives and completed all skills by the 2nd dive.However I was a little sad because both days we went to the same exact spots.Furthermore at bay1 there was nothing much, not many corals just one ship wreck and structures for helping corals to grow.This was a little sad to me as this was not communicated when I booked the dives.The best spot was manta bay but Tim was swimming very quickly everywhere I did not have the time to really stop and observe the marine lift within the corals.The next thing that upset me was the photos that Tim took to sell us. He was going to sell us the photos for 3K THB and I should have checked the photos before agreeing because they were not good.Furthermore he wanted cash only and we didn’t have enough cash and it was our last night, and we didn’t have a scooter. It’s difficult to get around Phuket without a scooter and the grabs and tuk tuks are expensive.I asked the dive centre if there was non cash payment and they cared enough to ask me how much I was paying for the photos and negotiated with Tim to lower it down to 2K THB. And Tim agreed to let me pay via bank transfer which was much easier.I asked my friend who has gone diving before and she said that her dive masters gave her photos for free.Honestly the whole trip was fine until this moment where I felt that we paid a lot more than what the photos were worth.Thinking back I also felt frustrated that I could not enjoy the dive as I wanted to at my own pace even after clearing all the skills because he kept moving fast.The dive centre did clarify that photos are not part of the service. As a new diver I would not have known what the common practice was.So in short, good centre to get ur dive license but for the fun dives, not so great.

My fiance and I did a practice pool dive before we went to the ocean, which was extremely helpful as this was my first time scuba diving. Our instructor Somkid was excellent and taught us everything we needed to know in the pool and really took his time to make sure we felt safe before going into the ocean. I was a bit concerned that i wore -2.50 prescription for glasses and i would not be able to see underwater as i could not wear my glasses… but Phuket Dive Tours provided a solution and had prescription goggles available for my use and they worked excellent! Everything about this experience was worth the money and it will be an experience we will always remember. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Me and my friend got open water diving license from here with our diving instructor Tim. It was truly a wonderful experience, the ocean was warm and crystal clear, although around the Racha Noi and Racha Yai island there is no dense coral area or massive biodiversity, it’s good for beginners to learn and practice. Our instructor Mr Timothy Mayor (Tim) is an experienced diver, very responsible and reliable underwater. During our training session, he allowed us to make mistakes but always made sure that we have understood the key points. He really took good care of us and made sure that we are safe while also having fun, just like ‘hanging out’ with a humorous and cool uncle. Overall, thanks for providing us a nice and unforgettable experience!

I signed up for the 3 days + 6 dives to get an official Open Water Diving Lisence, and it truly deserves 5 stars.Price: Covers your training, rental gear, taxi to and from the dives, as well as food for on the dives.Service: The entire time our instructor, Timothy Mayor, was very patient and understanding. He took enough time to explain in detail everything we needed to know in order to dive and made it a fun, safe, and rewarding experience.Time: The first day was training only, but I hardly recognized the time pass. It was quick, efficient, and fun. The next 2 days were all Diving, which was even better.Aesthetics: The scenery for the dives was beautiful. When my 11 and 13 year old sons wanted to try out scuba diving, I made it a point to research options with safety as the top priority, but I also wanted to make the experience fun and educational. This would hopefully inspire them to continue recreational diving and gain even more confidence in the water which they already love. Phuket Dive Tours has exceeded my expectations and I have no qualms about recommending them or returning to them next time we are in Phuket. We went for the scuba diving certification package instead of the full open water diving certification because of our sons’ ages and time constraints. Beto was assigned to us and he was an excellent instructor. He was very good with his young charges and at all times had their safety as his top concern. I can tell he takes pride in his integrity and credibility as an instructor and genuinely wanted his charges to properly learn diving and enjoy the water which seems to his beloved second home, a conclusion I came to from our brief interaction.

Had an amazing time diving with Phuket Dive Tours - the tour was booked from home before we travelled and the communication - from Dave- was top rate. My best diving experience in Thailand. During our trip, Me and my son used the services of several dive shops in Krabi, Phi Phi and Phuket. And diving with Phuket Dive Tours was the most organized, well prepared and fun dive experience we had.The guys are professional from the easy ordering online process to a very comfortable boat and good quality leasing diving gear. The experience continued with Somkid the dive master who did a good gob preparing us before the dive, and during the dive he made sure we will not miss a thing and even took photos and videos of us during the dive (paid separately but worth every baht). My son had his best dive in his life so far and I got the memories from it. Recommended!

I spent 2 days with these guys and it was awesome. Day 1 in the pool for refresher with Kann and it was great because you learnt a good platform of knowledge but they are also serious about safety.Day 2 was a 3 dive tour and it was great. From the starting dives to the more challenging dive at the end. You learn alot.I must recommend at least the refresher or intro courses for diving. Even though I had dived a while ago, you forget so much and that can dangerous on your return. These people care, that is most important.Tim is probably the most patient man I have met, understanding and never forgets you are in a high stress situation. If you are not at least a little considerate of what you are doing then don't dive. You put more than yourself in danger. Tim was awesome the whole day. Food was great and the crew fantastic.I will be back to do my 2 days training at some point. Because these guys made learning diving fun, even if I still get a bit anxious about the whole thing.One lat word, Benz is great and will guide you through the tour options. I recently completed my open water diving course with Phuket Dive Tours and had an outstanding experience. From the beginning, David was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions leading up to the deposit. Given that it was monsoon season, I was hesitant to book the course, but David assured me that the shop was flexible in rescheduling dates if conditions were deemed unsafe. This flexibility was also extended to our dive package—we initially purchased a 5-dive course but were given the option to upgrade to 6 dives on the boat itself depending on the weather. Thankfully, the weather turned out to be perfect for all three days we were there and we upgraded our package to enjoy more marine life and ship wreck exploration.A special shoutout to Tim and our Thai lady dive master (whose name I unfortunately forgot), both of whom were amazingly knowledgeable and patient. They closely observed us in the water and provided constructive feedback on any issues we faced. Thanks to their guidance, I now feel confident diving, with six dives logged and an eagerness for all the future fun dives to come.Thank you, Phuket Dive Tours, for an incredibly fun and professional crew. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn or advance their diving skills!Improvement suggestions:1. prescription goggle options - when i went, they mentioned they had -5 goggles but they only had up to -4. Would suggest to hold stock if possible2. photos - the group I was learning with was a group of 5, so the photos were taken rather hastily, resulting in limited photos of myself. It didn’t felt like value to be charged 1500 bhat for a few photos of myself, thus I opted out of it. Fortunately I brought a GOPRO and Tim was helpful in advising me on how to use it on my last fun dive. I would have loved to having a few free photos for us to post this review with.

Victor G. was very experienced and such a great teacher. We practiced all skills on every dive, not to just check a box on the list but so I could build confidence in the skills. Done my advance & Nitrox training with them. Had Victor as my guide. Lost of skills in diving since I’ve not dived for 6 months and Victor is so patient to recap things slowly so could understand the basic theory of diving again. Great instructor as he shared more knowledge and really easy going. Helps to take photos for you as well! So yea, just book this centre without hesitation!

It was awesome. We just completed our 3 nitrox dive with Tim, great instructor with helpful tips on bouyancy control and he took our photos underwater.We did our pool refresher course with Mr Lam prior to this dive.We will definitely return to Phuket Dive Tour for our next dive, highly recommended. Many thanks to Phuket Dive Tours Kata Beach, M/V Freedom Dolphin crew, and especially to Lem who was my guide and dive partner supreme! I went on a 3 dive trip with the most professional group of divers that one could ever ask for. The food was delicious, the crew very professional and attentive and Lem was so helpful as well as an experienced diver/guide. The whole day was a 5 Star experience. Ship wrecks, coral reefs, tons of beautiful fish, snake eels, moral eels, sea cucumber and the list goes on. I felt like a VIP all day. I'm sure everyone else did too. What an awesome experience.My sincere thanks to everyone !

absolutely amazing experience, our instructor was Tim Mayor, he is very knowledgeable, teaches you to be comfortable underwater at your own pace. i highly recommend him as an instructor. we did pool day and the open dives with him. Tomasz Jazweic was the assistant and he was incredibly helpful as well, teaching on the side, making sure we were not in danger. the whole experience was amazing! would love to come back and get my advance cert from them.

During my trip, my dive computer (activity watch style) decided to go into dive mode during the flight. I spoke to David via watsapp, late in the evening, to try and get hold of one for the following days' diving. Not only did he respond imidelty, he gave me advice on how I could get it up and running again. The following day, he met me prior to getting on the boat with a working dive computer that was clear of previous days' diving.The diving itself was pretty decent, and the guides were professional. It was a good 2 days diving (6 dives).I will book up with Phuket dive tours again next time a visit for the customer service alone.

Great dive center. I've been wanting to try diving for a long time, and after visiting Phuket and researching my options, I decided to take the SSI Open Water Diver course. It was a great decision, because, unlike the usual fun dives, the course allows you to learn the necessary theoretical base, as well as smoothly build up your practical diving skills. In addition, the obtained certificate will help you with diving in other places all around the world.I would also like to thank my instructor Jonathan Parr. He explained both the theory and the practical part of the exercises in a very accessible way. John was very friendly and approachable. He broke up our sessions so that I could learn new information and skills at a comfortable pace. I gained a lot of useful knowledge from him and overall, I couldn't have wished for a better teacher.Also, John is excellent underwater photographer, the photos from our last diving turned out to be really great!

I booked Scuba diving directly from them at patong store. The in store experience was amazing with lovely lady 'Fa' who Guided us all the programmes that they have and I chose scuba diving on private boat named sarah the boat was amazing, has all the facilities to enjoy luxury ride.Our diving instructor was "VIKTOR" who literally has been Knowledgeable, nice and a perfect photographer for us. I have never experienced this feeling in my entire life.Conclusion:- Everything was much more better than I expected.

I planned to take Advanced OWD, but the timing didn’t work out. Booked a diving tour to Phi Phi. Since the last dive was a year ago, I took a refresher course in the pool with instructor Kan. She explained everything perfectly and showed me that I had some gaps in my neutral buoyancy skills, and Kan taught me how to act in just a few minutes. Victor was the instructor for the tour. Very positive and experienced, supportive. The three dives went great. Victor took many wonderful photographs. I am grateful to both instructors and the dive center for their professionalism and high quality of work! Next time I will allocate enough time to complete the course and dive at other sites, including King Cruiser.

On the day, we were advised to do a pool dive first and we were so glad we did as this made us more confident before going to the sea. The day as a whole was well planned out and really fun - we had booked a beginners diving course with two dives and it was perfect for us. Lem explained everything beforehand and was really attentive and helpful in the water. We were also kept well fed with a range of tasty food throughout the day.

I've been wanting to scuba dive in Thailand for a long time, and I'm glad I finally did. I made two dives at Racha Noi and one at Racha Yai. The water was clear and warm, and full of colorful fish and coral.Dive master Tim has logged thousands of dives, and he knows what he's doing. He kept us safe, showed us around, and pointed out a lot of things I would have missed, like the moray eel hiding in the rock crevice.The last dive was a wreck dive, a sunken ship probably a few hundred feet long. It was a real thrill diving around that.If you're thinking about doing a dive with Phuket Dive Tours, I would highly recommend it. You'll be glad you did.

We did two day trips to Racha Noi and Phi Phi/Shark Point. Had a great time with Victor and Jon!The dive company is well organized and everything went smoothly. We had our gear ready in the boat before we were in! The gear is nice too, but dive boots could have been useful with the open fins. It’s not clearly stated but if you want to use nitrox, you can request it before.Just make sure to be ready for pick up at 7am!

We booked a last minute private snorkelling trip for 5 adults and 4 kids. The team, led by Kan were amazing and she was an incredible host. Always attentive and great communication. There are lots of jellyfish this time of year but don’t let that put you off. Still plenty to see and they know some spots where there a a lot less jellyfish. Thanks 🤩

Great advice - dive spots tailored to experience. Clarifications simply via WhatsApp.Jon was my guide for two days and 6 dives. He helped me improve and expand my knowledge. He made sure to make the most of the day. Equipment, diving spot and time management were perfectly coordinated. He explained the boat rules and procedures to us so that we were optimally prepared. We were always the first in the water and were able to avoid many divers. Even on board, Jon was always a good and fun person to talk to. Thanks for that!

I highly recommend the Open Water course with Phuket Dive tours. The shop is located in central Kata with a pool in the back. Day 1 you do in the pool, and day 2-3 on the boat. My instructor was Jon Parr who was awsome! Jon is a great guy, very experienced and made us all feel safe at all times, as well as having a good time with all of us. He made sure we did things in a safe manner and showed us great patience. Loved it! Thank you!

We booked the Deep Dive Specialty and had Jon as an instructor. Jon was/is highly professional and we felt 100% safe at all times. The atmosphere on the boat was also very pleasant for day trip boats and the food was good too.I can't say anything about the equipment because we have our own equipment. However, the tanks were in good condition and were always sufficiently filled.The dive sites, we were Racha Noi and Racha Yai, were from ok to good.We had a lot of fun on the course and would book with Phuket Dive Tours again at any time. We booked the trip Racha Noi Scuba Diving 3 Dive Day Trip, the cost was 4500 Baht per person. We were totally new to diving. Our instructor Victor took care of carefully explaining all the necessary details for secure diving before getting into the water. He set up all the equipment and explained how it worked. It was a great learning experience and a beautiful adventure into the sea. I strongly recommend it to everyone that wants to explore the world under the water even if you never went scuba diving before.

Yesterday we went diving. Incredible experience! Everything is superbly organized. I would especially like to mention the instructor Victor. It was my first time diving, but everything went very comfortably. The day before the diving, Victor conducted a training session in the pool, where he answered all the questions and showed how to dive correctly, how not to panic and how to move correctly underwater. The boat took us to the islands of Racha and Racha Yai, there were three dives and each time different emotions and impressions. Thanks to Victor and the whole team, I will definitely come back again!

Shout-out to Victor 🙏 We did an Advanced Open Water Course + an Open Water Diver Course with him and it was one of the best things during our trip through SEA.I'm not the best swimmer and I'm afraid of the open ocean. But from start till end I felt safe and comfortable. He taught us the skills to confidently navigate through water and gave us room to explore the ocean Life independently. There was no micro managing.Thank you very much, Victor. It was a pleasure to have you as our instructor. We did our Advanced Adventurer and Nitrox certification with Scuba Dive Tours. Even though almost everything was fully booked, Benz was still able to accommodate us on the boats for all 5 dives.Equipment was provided and was in great condition.Our dive instructor Victor was brilliant. He is very experienced ! and has an excellent and very personable way of conveying the training content. He answered all questions at all times. An absolute recommendation!!!!The boat tours (1 x catamaran, 1 x large diving boat) were very well organized. Good crew and good food.

What an amazing experience!! Me and my girlfriend wanted to get an advanced open water certificate, so we went by the shop and met David. David helped us with all our options and choices on what we wanted to do on our dives and where we wanted to dive. Together with David we found a plan and booked our trip. We got to the boat and meet up with our instructor Jon. Jon was such an amazing instructor! He took us under his wings and showed us everything we needed to know. Great service all the way around. I have just done my open water dive course with Phuket dive tours and it was fantastic. It was really well organised, the dedicated pool is right near the dive shop in kata beach and the equipment was in really good order. Most of all it was fun! A big shout out to our dive instructor Jon Parr. Very competent and experienced, Jon went the extra mile by bringing his own camera to our ocean dives which has given us precious photos of our first dives!! He also took the time to point out some of the interesting things to see like moray eels and razor fish. I highly recommend this experience.

I booked two tours with them, the first was a day dive trip (on a different review) and the three day two nights Similan island live aboard.I was nervous booking the trip since I had not dove in a year and have only and open water, but after reaching out to David, he was able to talk with me about all the different options and helped me pick the best option for me.The only thing I regret is not being able to stay for longer!!Travel was long, pick up from hotel to speed boat to the main ship took about 2 hours, but I had no issues with drivers finding me and my hotel as well as transferring my things to the main boat.I was paired with a girl that was close in age, similar dive experience and same language. The staff was so kind and attentive. The food is AMAZING. The diving is like a well oiled machine, you come in and quickly learn the day to day routine.My dive guide was Tour, a young local diver, who has over 10 years experience, which was east to see as we where diving. He was able to take us around the reef helping us find the animals we wanted to see (as available, obviously nothing is guaranteed) and adapted the path we took to give us more opportunities to do swim throughs (kinda like tunnels).Jon was the point person on the ship, who was also knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk with.I am so sad that I left after only three days. And will definitely be back again!

Incredibly well organised, Jon was outstanding, I’m not your typical diver. 6’4” 155kg and I gulp air like it’s my last. 5 Stars, 6 if I couldI did 3 fundives on a full day Tour with Jon and really enjoyed every Moment of it. He was a great instructor and did his best to lead three wounderful dives and created moments to remember. We went to different spots on Banana Bay and to two Wracks at Racha Yai and felt the loads of Jon's Experience in diving there. He knew the best spots amd I felt safe and comfortable the whole time.Jon also taught some nice practical things and methods to grow as a Diver.Not only the dives itself made the day become an awesome experience, its also the atmosphere on the boat and the little things that matter.I felt welcome the moment I walked into the office and booked my Dives with Salma.In the morning I was picked up on time at my Hotel and was taken to the pier and welcomed there.The team was really nice and the food on the boat was delicious.Each buffet (breakfast, lunch, fruits, snacks) had a good variety to choose from and it was plenty.Really enjoyed the trip, thanks to Jon and the Team of Phuket Dive Tours.

I took 2 consecutive 3-dive day tours with Phuket drivers. Both were absolutely fabulous. On the first tour, my instructor Maa did a great job of meticulously going through a refresh procedure, as I hadn't dived in the past 10years. Then we had a great time fun diving in the Ratcha's. Maa was great at pointing out interesting things to see underwater.The next day was a tour to Phi Phi and shark point. Alla, my instructor, was great at leading the way and taking care of every detail of the dive. Alla made sure to go below first to get me a close up with a Leopard shark, before the "herd" joined from above and scared him away. The Phi Phi dives were absolutely amazing. Plenty of colours and great sea life to experience.The ships were great, serving food and fresh fruit before and between dives. Just what you need after surfacing hungry. The entire staff was very helpful in managing the equipment and helping out wherever needed.I strongly recommend diving with Phuket divers... can't wait to come back to Phuket for seconds...

Our snorkeling excursion on the PowerCat catamaran was amazing! Kan, our guide, was great and, with her expertise and warmth, did everything to make the trip an unforgettable experience for our kids (7 & 9). The snorkeling spots were great - especially the two off Koh Racha. A great dive experience, thanks to our dive master.Jul 2023We booked a tour of Vietnam and Thailand through Asia Pioneer travel, and stipulated that we dive two days in Phuket. We got so lucky that our travel agent at Asia Pioneer booked us through Phuket Dive Tours, and, specifically, because we landed Jon Parr as our dive master.We were on a 2 day, three dive per day trip, and shared a dive boat with other operators, but we felt we had such a custom experience because of Jon.My wife is the biggest dive enthusiast, followed by me, and finally our 14-year old, newly PADI certified, daughter. Jon made sure all of us got the most out of the trip.We had such a lovely experience, and even though day 2 wasn't perfect conditions (low season, weather/currents related), Jon communicated to us what to expecting each dive, and we really appreciated his candor and attention to detail.I can't say enough about how quality the experience was. Amazing amazing amazing!My boyfriend and I completed our open water and advanced adventurer certification this week. I cannot recommend Phuket Dive Tours enough! Our instructor, Sean, was extremely knowledgable, experienced and fun. He set the bar really high for any future dive guides! Our training was personalized to fit our wants/needs/fears and we felt comfortable the entire time with him by our side.For our dives we did all boat dives, which I definitely recommend for the best experience - we visited some of the best dive sites in Thailand! I have a really great experience getting my divers license here.The prices are really good. If you want to get your divers license I would recommend you doing that here because it is a lot cheaper than at other diver shops.The owner is flexible and will help you if you have a problem and the instructors are also nice. You can have a great chat with them.My instructor, Beto, was really nice and explained everything very well. He makes you feel very comfortable. We would highly recommend Phuket Dive Tours. We took the refresher course session in their pool followed by a dive on Kata reef. Marshall made the day outstanding. He looked after us very well and was very thorough going through all the basic skills and listened carefully to what we wanted to practice. Great company too. A perfect and fun refresher course. David and Marshall both took us out on the reef and we came back with some great photos of the dive taken by David including our encounter with a cute cuttlefish.

Did my open water diver certification with Roman. He was extremely professional and thorough and really made me feel safe and comfortable in the water. We had an amazing experience. Originally we were a group of 4, however one got sick over the night and had to cancel right before the transfer pickup at our hotel, this was handled very professionally and she even got most of her money back, only 200 baht for insurance was taken.The three rest of us had a personal dive instructor, his name was Beto and he was very professional. One person in our company had trouble going down (her first time diving) and Beto did his very best and was very professional.I have a dive certificate and was more comfortable diving, so i got moved to another instructor for my second and third dive so that i would be able to make some good dives while Beto worked with the beginners in our group.Both my dives were amazing with the last dive visiting a wreck at about 20m, very good!The big boat had fresh water shower and toilets, we had free snacks and food on board and the ride to the dive-site couldn’t have been more comfortable.Overall an absolutely amazing experience.

I chose PDT from the good reviews and it was the right decision. Having to arrange diving trips for a family of 4 certified divers, mom and dad with 14and 12, and a 20 yo son taking open water certification was quite daunting. I spoke to David before arriving in Phuket and met Benz and Roman the instructor at the shop in Kata.We did a refresher beach dive at Kata beach together with the training dive for the son taking SSI certification. The next day David arranged for a private catamaran to Yanui to complete the training dives as well as recreational dives for the rest of us.We had a great time diving together as a family after almost 2 year break because of covid. Roman was patient with my children with high regards on safety that we felt safe diving with him. Thank you Roman for the great photos and videos as well. David was on the boat ensuring everything was in order and the whole trip was a joy. Thanks PDT for a memorable dive outing in Phuket.

As an Advanced Diver I went out on a 3 dive tour for the day. Picked up from my hotel and taken to the large boat all ready and fitted out for the day's diving. I was met by my guide Tim Mayor who was great to dive with and had my safety at top of mind. Tim was ready with plenty of knowledgeable info, great conversation and helpful hints on the techniques of "looking cool" while diving 😂...many thanks Tim for the pics and making me look "cool". Oh and let me add that you certainly won't go hungry on the day as there was plenty of delicious food on offer. It is a long day so you will need it.I would certainly recommend this company especially for the convenience of hotel pick up and drop off and all for a reasonable price.

Despite did not get the best day for dive an a rought sail towards the kho racha dive spots (rainy season) I am overall very happy with the dive center from the facilities ,helpful friendly staff and the organization for one day dive excursion that make the whole journey much worthwhile. Our guide /instructor Tim was very reachable easygoing, knowledgable an I feld very comfortable to dive with him and our fellows". Hope we dive soon again!

The two of us booked the tour to Racha Noi and Racha Yai, and since we haven't been diving for a while, we also booked the refresher on board. Due to the weather in August, the boat ride was a bit bumpy (we recommend taking tablets against seasickness) but everything else was just great. Our dive guide Tim was super friendly and relaxed. The 3 dives were a lot of fun. The food after the first dive was also very tasty. We can really recommend the Phuket Dive Center. Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

Nice place to be.Did my open water diver last year (different place). So I was a little bit nervous. I did not know how to organize something or how I should do ot after my course....Very good Organisation (be on time 🙂 ) and nice diving spots. And for me the most important: good and really correct education. Never have been alone or had the feeling that something is out of control.In fact: every day I booked a new trip 😁. And I enjoyed. I had the opportunity to dive for two days in Phuket, exploring the impressive Phi Phi Islands and other points of interest in the area. From the get-go, the team was very professional and organized, making sure everything was ready for safe and exciting dives. They both demonstrated great knowledge, patience and passion for diving. My family and I had such a great experience with Dave and Phuket Dive Tours for our dive snorkel tour to Racha Yai Island. The service was exceptional, attention to details, and the food was great. Small dive groups made the attention to each diver really easy. I would highly recommend Phuket Dive Tours for this family tour.I also did a shore dive with Pai and had such a great time. Easy access to the beach and Pai was great as showing me all the sea life and it was a great slow relaxing dive. For a fast dive if you’re limited on time, do a beach dive with Phuket Dive Tours.

Just got back from an epic 3 dive day trip with scuba diving Phuket. I'm in absolute shock at the incredible, professional and spotless dive boat we took out today. I've diced in Thailand before and this company takes the cake. The professionalism from the staff going from the owners all the way to the crew is unparalleled. I'm honestly so impressed.We got served breakfast, snacks and lunch and there was so much food with plenty to snack on throughout the day. Water and soft drinks are all complementary and the dive masters and crew are top notch. Look no further, this agency is a dream come true. I did the shark point tour with shipwreck and saw a leopard shark!

I did the 3 dive day tour and it exceeded my expectations. David gave amazing service and responded to my queries well even when I got my hotel cancelled and had to change my pickup. The boat was very big and stable plus the food service was so great.I went with an advanced team and made some new friends too 😊It was unfortunate that their liveaboard was full but I’ll be keeping an eye out to join them next time.

During our time here, we had Tim as am instructor. Me and my girlfriend went from knowing nothing to being able to dive comfortably on our own. Superb experience with my pool and beach “try dive”, cannot recommend these guys enough.For context, prior to this, my first and only time scuba diving was a terrifying ordeal (being literally thrown in the deep end with no training) so I was put off for over a decade.Walked past this shop and the friendly owner explained I could do a session in their pool to get familiar with the basics followed by a dive at the beach which involves a shallow gradient, so again, not scary at all.Saw some amazing coral and fish, many thanks to Lam and Emily for their professionalism, reassuring me and training me, it’s been a game changer and made my Phuket trip truly memorable.

Me and good friend of mine just did our Advanced Adventure Certification with Phuket Dive Tours Kata. The whole company is well organized, everything went so smooth there. I can highly recommend this dive center. Our dive instructor Tim (Timothy) is an absolute legend, he is an really experienced diver and an awesome teacher. He takes his time he really analyzed our dives and showed us so many tips and tricks to improve our dive. Thank you for that mate ! I decided to spontaneously sign up for the Open Water Certification, and I must say, it turned out to be an excellent choice. The staff was incredibly accommodating, offering great flexibility with the starting date, and communication through WhatsApp was quick and efficient.My instructor, Pascal, was absolutely outstanding. He demonstrated a genuine passion for teaching and was exceptionally competent, calm, and professional throughout the entire course. A heartfelt thank you, Pascal, for making this such an enjoyable experience!Although I initially signed up for 4 dives (2 dives per day), I was given the opportunity to add 2 more dives each day for an additional cost. The diving spots themselves were stunning, making the entire experience even more memorable.

We (1 couple) went to Phuket for one week and spontaneously went by the shop for diving. Benz (one of the responsible persons) made it possible to fit us in last-minute to a three day advanced dive trip - including rescheduling. The flexibility and quality is absolutely outstanding. My partner did his PADI open water certification and I did a refresher course. Tim was our instructor. He was really great. We were both a bit nervous but he did a great job of taking care of us. Safety was his number one priority. We also did a recreational dive after the course which was so fun and Tim even got some great photos of us during the dives. Everyone in the shop that helped us set up the dives were honest, helpful, and seemed like great folks. They even went above and beyond to help me sort out an issue/mix up with my PADI certification card. Would definitely recommend.

I would recommend this Dive Tour. Dave was responsive with my questions via WhatsApp before I traveled to Phuket. My wife and I were picked up at Patong Beach hotel in shuttle Van of ten people. When we arrived at the marina, my wife and I were immediately partnered with Pascal. Pascal greeted us warmly and navigated us thru the marina and took us out to our dive boat. The double decker dive boat probably carried about 80 people which was a little surprised but Pascal was only assigned to my wife and I which was very reassuring. Pascal went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and explained what’s was going on and what to expect. My wife and I enjoyed the free buffet breakfast and a relaxing boat ride out to island. Pascal showed us our dive gear and explained the basics of diving. We did 3 dives and Pascal made sure we were comfortable/safe in the water. It was one of our best days on our vacation and it was because we had the right dive master looking after us = Pascal.

From start to finish the experience was brilliant. Done my deep diving and wreck diving courses and from booking David was very helpful.My instructor was Alla and she couldn’t have been better. Very enthusiastic, helped ease me into diving again after a year away and took me to some beautiful diving spots and was very knowledgeable on the sea life. Knew exactly where the fish would be resting and was constantly showing me fish spots that most divers would overlook.Overall I would highly recommend dive tours for both excellent management and amazing instructors.

Me, my husband and my friend decided to go with this company for a package which comes with a diving lesson for beginners and a short dive, we really amazed with our instructor (a sweet thai lady named Gan). She was very patient taking her time to ensure that all of us understand how to dive safely and comfortably.I am not good at swimming at all, always extremely nervous going into the ocean without a life jacket.Gan paid close attention to me as my husband and my friend are excellent swimmers who just don’t know how to dive. In the middle of the lesson in their pool, I was already gave up thinking of going back to the hotel, however, she patiently went over and over on the equipment, breathing and other things that we are supposed to know in details and had me practice until I felt comfortable and safe to go diving.After that we all went into the ocean together because I was not able to control how to use the fins perfectly yet, she held my hand and we dove next to each other and at the same time look out for my husband and my friend.We had such a great time and experience with her. We would definitely recommend anyone who’s interested to be taught by Gan.

My best day in Thailand was diving with this center. From my first inquiry, David was so responsive and flexible in answering my questions and meeting my requests. The customer service here is beyond excellent.I had M as my private dive guide, and he gave me truly 5-star service through his utmost professionalism, friendly and warm attitude, and attention throughout the day. He took fantastic video and ensured we enjoyed long dives at Phi Phi islands. I feel like I've made a friend and a wonderful dive buddy I would happily recommend to all.We were so privileged to see multiple sharks and such healthy marine life. The sites we visited were diverse and carefully selected with priority given to safety, divers' certification level, and conditions.As a PADI Instructor and former dive center owner, I recognize just how much hard work (so much of it behind the scenes) goes into maintaining such a smooth and safe operation such as this. The reviews are correct for this one! Fantastic tour from pickup to drop off.. what made it so special was small group size in a large boat. The guides were safety conscious yet catered to various skill levels. The photographer/guide was available to take amazing pictures and videos (well worth the extra tip). Saw lots of nemos and other colorful little and medium size fish. The coral is alive and vibrant.The guide even shared some free diving tips that helped. It was my second time playing this activity. Not feasible for me, living in Canada.It may cost a tad more than other crowed tours, but think about what’s more important!

The 2 dives at Racha Noi were better as clarity of water was really good (we were luckily to have a sunny day as well). Kan guided me well and having her helped me be calm and enjoy the dive. This is the 2nd year we've been diving with Phuket Dive Tour and it's still going great! Last year we had Victor and this year Somekid, both were great and gave us confidence. The organization of dives and top, transfer from the hotel to the port as well as the return at the end of the day. Then on the boats everything is well organized and the meals are delicious.

I have just finished my 3-day SSI open water diver certification here and Pascal was my instructor. Due to food poisoning, I felt terrible on my second training day. Pascal was very reassuring and planned an easier day for me which made all the difference. I would like to thank Dive Tours, in particular instructor Alla, for providing an excellent opportunity to try out the recently received PADI OWD certificate and get my first good diving experience) there is always an opportunity to see rare marine inhabitants underwater, but not 100%. I was lucky, I saw a turtle, stingray, barracuda, moray eel, fish frog and a bunch of other beautiful iridescent fish) I want to recommend the Dive Tour, because they provide a Russian-speaking instructor, 3 dives and the quality of the trip leaves a pleasant impression, I recommend it!)

In short, these are the people to go to for coordinating your Phuket, Thailand SCUBA diving.Benz, the owner, was AWESOME. Clear, concise and very helpful. We planned two dive days for our stay in Phuket, and I did not regret at all using PDT for our arrangements. You are in great hands giving your trust to them for a great dive experience. PDT is an SSI shop, if that particularly matters.About diving in Phuket.I am a Master Diver and was open water certified in 1979, i.e. lots of divesThis DOES NOT reflect on what a live aboard trip as far as the dive experience is concerned in the area. We booked a multi-dive day to the Phi Phi islands and another to Racha Noi (sp?).Few (if any) of the dive centers here actually own their own boats or equipment. They sub-contract for spots on large dive boats and your dive guide is the primary contact to coordinate your dive day and get you from hotel to diving and back. Our guides were Victor and Andy and they were two of the best I have ever been around!As planned, our shuttle to the pier arrived and off we went. They were well equipped to handle people with their own dive gear, but for this trip, half way around the world, I only brought dive vest, mask, fins and dive watch/computer, opting to use their equipment as it was just two days of diving. To my surprise, all dive gear was included in the price, so you can literally just show up in a swim suit and go diving.Visibility was decent, affected by shore runoff from heavy rains the previous month, still pumping silt into the ocean. I must say that the environment did not look at all hearty and my daughter and I noticed a brown green tinge to everything, that might be attributed to the runoff. But, the system is obviously stressed by too many divers and warmer than usual waters, making both factors too much for the ecology to handle. As we dove Mid-October right at the beginning of the dive season, I can only imagine conditions will not improve with throngs of tourists pouring into the area.As for our first dive, we were on a large boat with at least 50 divers of all experience levels (and nationalities). For me there were too many people in the water and the different groups tended to get on top of each other as guides from different groups jockeyed to get their dive group to the best locations in each dive area. I would not recommend the local dive sites during peak tourist season if there are even more dive boats dumping divers on top of each other, at least for the Phi Phis. Watching inexperienced divers kicking the bottom and bumping into coral was also frustrating as the corals and micro-biom are already struggling as it is.The “rental equipment” (as stated, included in the cost) was adequate and most importantly, the regulators worked as they should. My pressure gauge kept sticking, so this too was a distraction having to constantly tap it to see how much air I had left (an important factor to know when diving 🙃). These dives are pretty much timed out conservatively by the guides anyway and I was never close to running out of air. None of this is “the fault” of PDT, and should not be a reflection on them.Apparently, the dives we have planned for day two are further south and water conditions are much better. I will add that experience later if it is significantly different than our day one.I no longer dive just to “blow bubbles”. I want decent visibility, plenty to look at, especially the “small stuff” (because ANYONE can see a shark or a turtle) and enjoy the wonders of the underwater world. From the expectations that had been built up for me about “diving Thailand” from other divers, I have to say I was disappointed. Yes, I’m a salty old diver, so take that into account.Overall:Phuket Dive Tours: 10/10Boat, Equipment: 7/10Crew, Boat Service, Food: 8/10Dive Experience, Environment: 5/10

Nat was an awesome dive guide. She was super informative and showed me all the cool spots while pointing out some really cool fish and things to see. Had a brilliant experience with kata dive tours in August. Signing up in person at their shop was a breeze. No upselling or rushing. Everything was explained and displayed properly. Communication on the day the van picked us up from my hotel was also good. Replies on WhatsApp was fastDid 3 dives to king cruiser wreck, shark point and Koh doc mai. I had the pleasure of diving with one of the best instructor/divemaster I've had in Andrii.He was attentive to our needs and safety at all times. He got us ponchos due to the heavy rain at the start of the dive. And gave clear instructions and briefings on the dives with maps of the dive sites that he brought.He took special care to make sure I got my dive gear on properly as it had been some time since my last dive and I forgot some things. His patience and clear instructions were both professional and fun. I had confidence in the safety of my equipment and appreciate that he looked over every detail before we started each dive.The dives were beautiful and fun. Starting with personalized service of the owners David and Benz who walked me through the sign up process and made concessions when my flight didnt allow me to finish my 3rd dive. David was legitimately concerned for my safety and advised me not to dive the 3rd dive. The boat is huge, and beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful, welcoming and engaging. The food spread was endless and delicious. My guide Andrey was the cherry on top. He was meticulous, informative and ever watchful underwater. He even made sure he showed me how to clean and maintain my equipment after he learned I had just bought all my gear for the first time. I highly recommend this crew and company. Tim, what a guy, so many stories, he should definitely be on liveaboards, could be the ships entertainment! The customer service is great from these guys and good value for money.The diving was ok due to bad viz and strong currents. But plenty to see on the cruiser. The dive boat was shared with our businesses but really well decked out, plenty of space, good food and facilities.I would recommend to dive with Phuket Dive Tours.

I spent ten days doing scuba training with Phuket Dive Tours back in January, so this review is a bit overdue. It was my first time ever diving and it was an absolute blast. I cannot recommend these folks enough.Scheduling was super easy. After browsing their website to understand their course offerings, I contacted David, the owner, over WhatsApp. He was very prompt in getting back to me and was happy to answer my questions as a diving newbie. Booking and payment was handled online.Over ten days, I completed the Try Scuba, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Night Diving, Deep Diving, and Nitrox classes. A total of 18 dives.My instructor was Tim Mayor, a scuba veteran with over 6500 dives logged. I couldn't ask for a more competent and patient teacher. I felt safe the entire time and we got to dive some really cool sites. He also took a ton of great photos and videos during the training, which is something I especially appreciate.If you're thinking of trying diving, you can't go wrong with these folks.

Our main lesson learned with Thailand, is that if you want seclusion, privacy and empty beaches, Phuket is not the place. This applies to diving. It’s busy and everything is on a grand scale. Our 3-dive day trip to Phi Phi was on a boat with probably 20-30 divers and it was the first time diving in such conditions for us. That being said, it was well organised, professional and our dive guide was very good. What you see is simply luck of the draw - we saw no sharks, but plenty of everything else.1. Arranged online with ease2. WhatsApp tips/support helpful3. All your equipment is setup for you on the boat4. You get breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, ice cream/fruit + soft drinks/tea/coffee/water5. Boat has a large sundeck to take in the sun6. 3 WC with showers too (wet room style)I would recommend the tour (Phi Phi) and company, but be mindful of the following:1. Phi Phi is a full day- 7:00 am pickup and back on land at 19:00+. Getting to the first dive site is approx 3 hours, as the boat is a bit slow2. It’s a large group so if you want some 1:1, worth paying a personal dive guide3. I did not read that we had to pay 600 THB pp on the boat for the national park fees (my bad)Final tip - ask about what tour suits you beforehand. Better than simply googling “top dive sites in Phuket”.

We were staying at Club Med and had diving planned with them. The boat’s motor broke up on the d-day so we could not dive neither this day nor the following days (boat still broken+end of our stay) and NO REFUND was granted whereas they were not able to propose the same trip later (motor still out of service+unavailability from us). There are two things I miss with Phuket, first of all is the fried shrimp. But that’s not the most important one, the most important one is Phuket Dive Tours and specifically Tim. My first diving instructor. The amazing experience Tim gave me and my girlfriend laid grounds for an amazing appreciation for diving and how to have fun under water but staying safe while doing so. Never once was any important safety step skipped and not once did we feel unsafe. It was the best start in diving I think you could have. I’d strongly recommend doing the open water diver course at Phuket Dive Tours.Thank you Tim. (Me and my girlfriend who did the open water with Tim are now dive masters 5 months later)

Phuket Dive Tours are a professional and friendly dive tour operators based in an easily accessible shop just before Kata beach. I enjoyed my quick refresher and two dives with divemaster Laem. Can only recommend doing your diving lessons here. We had a great time with our instructor Tim. Wether it is theoretical knowledge or practical he is really easy going and can explain everything easily so anyone can understand it. We did our open water here and for sure will do the advanced aswell here!Update: We have finished our advanced course too. And where lucky enough to have Tim again as our instructor. As a bonus we have also included the nitrox course which was exceptionally well explained by our instructor. Over all we had 6 Boat dives for our Advanced course on Phi Phi island King cruiser etc. I cannot recommend explain in words how beautiful the underwater world is.The only thing I can recommend is using Phuket dive tours for your licensing or fun dives they are so nice and welcoming. The initial contact via the shop conveys quite a bit of sales pressure. However, this would not be necessary as the tours are really well organised and visit beautiful dive sites. My husband and I went on a dive tour for the first time with our instructor Victor from Phuket Dive Tours and it was an incredible experience! He is a great guy and he made us feel very comfortable throughout the journey. We were properly briefed for every dive and all our questions were answered. He is also extremely passionate and enthusiastic and goes above and beyond in taking amazing photos and sharing his experiences! We saw so many beautiful corals and marine lives throughout the dive!We took the practice dive at the pool with instructor Alla and she was pretty amazing! She explained all the necessary details required for the first time diver and we practiced diving in the pool.A very big Thank you to Victor & Alla! You guys are amazing!🙌🏼

Yes !!! Five Stars !!!I came to Phuket with my 12 old son for his winter school vacation. Very last minutes we have decided to get open water certification. We searched google, found out this Phuket diving tour we did 3 full days for training. It was awesome . Program is well organized. As a beginner, it is great experience. I met Vitor, our instructor, he is French origin. He is GREAT instructor !!! He guide and trained us most effectively .My son and I are very impressed his instruction. Thanks to him we made it. Did a night dive speciality course with Phuket Dive Tours and it was really fun. The instructor Jon was really patient and explained everything in detail for us. We haven't dived for a long time so he also helped to recap some of the things for us before the dive. Got to see a different side of the reef, tho there's less things to see but it was a great experience.One thing though, please please please be early. We were about to set out to the beach when someone just showed up so we got delayed.

I completed a refresher dive at Kata Beach with Victor yesterday afternoon as it had been about a year since I was diving.He was patient, professional and gave me reassurance I just needed to breathe and take my time!I ended up booking a full excursion today with Phuket Dive Tours, and had the pleasure of having Victor again for the three dives. Our group was great- two members received their open water and it was a relaxing, pleasant experience.If you are coming to dive for the 100th time or even the first time, I will strongly recommend Victor as your instructor. Very professional dive shop. Pricing is very good as well. We also did a day trip to Ko Phi Phi and the dive there was amazing. The groups are small to make sure the instructor can focus on anybody. Awesome scuba operator. David, the owner, great with communication. Our family of four had three instructors Khan, Gob and Tim. My daughter and I were with Tim - I needed to sort my buoyancy and my daughter did some intro dives and he was incredibly patient and thorough and I’ve never felt more comfortable with my buoyancy. It’s great they have a pool out the back so you can refresh your skills in an easy, convenient location. Highly recommend.

With the transition, Tim was patient and built the course around our level of comfort - eventually getting us to successfully complete our open water certification.The equipment was great. Great dive company, booked two day tours with them and had clear communication before the dives through WhatsApp and email. Dive groups were small - I was in a group of two for my first dive and was alone with my guide for the second. Both guides (Tim and Yak) were knowledgeable and kind and made the process seamless. Pricing is similar to other dive shops in the area and they also included hotel pickup.

Avoid these companies. I booked a day trip to the Similan islands through Phuket Dive Tours. The dive was outsourced to South Siam Divers. We arrived at the dive boat after a 2.5-hour minibus ride and 1.5 hour speed boat ride. Our first dive was where the boat was moored for the night, and we were swimming over sand for around 35 minutes out of the 50-minute dive, and the rest was some sorry looking half dead corals. They were just too lazy to move the boat. Spend your time and money with companies which try to provide you with enjoyable service, not these two.

The paperwork at the shop was easily done and the pickup from the hotel worked well.At the pier we were greeted by our dive instructor Jon. From there it was just amazing. We were properly briefed for every dive and all our questions were answered. Jon took care of pretty much everything and we were always suited up and ready when the signal from the captain came - so we had the most of the dive experience and time. The dive spots were awesome and Jon showed us all different kind of wildlife hidden at some places. TLDR: great dive shop, totally recommend!I did a refresher followed by Advanced course with PDT, and it was a great experience.Refresher; there was a bit of a planning hiccup once I arrived at the shop for my refresher as the instructor got delayed/overbooked. This was however handled very well by the staff at the shop and in my favour, meaning I got more than I originally paid for.If you’re doing a refresher, do the beach one! The sea life is really great and it’s totally worth the few extra baht!Advanced: big thanks to Jon who was our instructor and made the 2-day Advanced course so much fun!I got paired with another girl for the course, and kudos to the shop for that pairing cause we were the best dive buddies!Jon always got us ready early so we would be the first to jump into the water and get dibs on the dive site 😁He also took pictures (additional paid service) and I’m so happy to have these memories of the beautiful dives and animals we’ve seen!We had pick up and drop off at the hotels, the food on the boats was fine, and the communication in case of questions smooth.Kata shop: I popped by the shop a few times and the staff there was always very welcoming, helpful, and in a good mood 😁

With 110 euros 3 dives and I didn't worry about anything..Excellent organization, they pick you up at the hotel, take you to the port for the day of diving and bring you back to the hotel.Equipment included in the price, you can go in costume and they'll take care of the rest. Between one dive and another there are guys who refill the tank and fix everything without having to do anything, obviously you always have to check. Very helpful guide, the guy I ended up with Tom took several photos which he later shares on Instagram for you to download. Highly recommended! 😎

I have nothing but admiration and professionalism that this dive Center showed me and my friends. We did a beech dive on day one & the next day we dived off Ko Racha Yai. We did two wreck dives under the watchful guidance of our Dive Master John, and both were great. The food and drinks were great too. My husband and I went on a dive trip to Phi Phi Islands with Jon and had a fantastic time. He made us feel very comfortable and was great at communicating the plan for each stop and exactly what to do and what to expect. The dives themselves were amazing. We recently dove at the Great Barrier Reef and both agreed we liked these even better. We saw black tip reef sharks, a turtle, and tons and tons of beautiful fish. The boat ride was smooth and although I am prone to sea-sickness, I never felt sick. Would 100% recommend and will dive with this company again when we return!

We did a wonderful day excursion featuring 3 certified dives at Phi Phi Islands.We got picked up at our hotel and met our friendly and professional guide Jon. He briefed us on the dives and set us up with equipment.The boat ride was nice, serving delicious snacks and meals with about an hour between each dive site.Our guide Jon made us feel safe and welcomed during 3 50-minute dives which he adapted to our experience level.Jon knew exactly where to spot amazing wildlife including black tip reef sharks, turtles, and tons of fish. He also took us through a beautiful open water cave, and even took professional photos of us and everything we saw so we could focus on diving.The dive sites were warm, not too crowded, and had great visibility. Would definitely go again!

What an amazing experience with Phuket Dive Tours. We came from the USA having already completed our SSI pool testing and our paper exam. We planned to complete our open water dives as referrals when we arrived in Thailand. Dave was great in coordinating our referral and planning our dive trips. Jon was our primary dive master and we also had a second dive master since we had one adult , an 11yo and a 14yo. Jon was amazing- incredibly patient , kind, engaging and very informative. I really can't say enough good things about the team here.I did a one day pool try dive here and I'm currently two days into my three day open water course. My partner is slightly less confident than I am and our instructor Jon is exactly the right mix of kind and assertive. I did the Scuba Open Water Diving Course (SSI) with phuket dive tours and it has really got to be the best experience. My instructor, Jon was extremely patient and assuring as I was very unconfident with being in deep waters. He made sure that i was comfortable and kept encouraging me on. I definitely felt that i was in good hands with Jon! He is also extremely passionate and enthusiastic and goes above and beyond in taking amazing photos and sharing his experiences. He knows how to calm you down really well, taught me how not to be afraid of the wild life underwater. If you’re not confident like I was, you can trust Jon Parr!

I had a refresher course and 2 dives with John on a speedboat at Racha yai and Racha Noi. Two of my buddies completed their open water there and we were really happy with everything. John's courses are very thorough and detailled and he is also a fun lad. The coworkers and owner adjusted our whole program to our needs and were incredibly flexible. We also did a night dive with Benz and Kan which was also fun. The training pool didn't offer any shade and that would definitely help. To put it in a nutshell we were really satisfied with what we got for money and we can highly recommend this diving school and our instructor Jon.

I signed up my 3 teenagers age 13,15&17 with David for the Open Water certification course. We were very impressed and happy with the instructor Sean who is assisted by Sam - a trainee instructor. Sean is extremely experienced and patient with the kids and make the learning fun for them. He is able to impart the essential skills and knowledge required and I feel safe with him leading the kids on they first dives which is so important. He makes them enjoys the diving and doing it safely too.

Phuket Dive Tours has great customer service and great prices! I went into my Open Water Course a bit nervous about what could happen underwater. My fears were eased in the stupendous training given at the pool first, Jon did a great job having us practice each part of SSI a lot so that when we were in the ocean, it was just second nature and there was no panic if there were to be a real emergency. He also eased my fears of sharks or other animals attacking by his attitude toward diving, very happy and relaxed! It was a real joy to be underwater! We saw some amazing creatures and Jon was the perfect guide for it! He is super patient and never sounds annoyed or rude in his tone of voice, even if he had to repeat himself multiple times. I was really grateful for Jon being my first instructor in diving! We had lots of great conversation with him and the other students on the boat too! He's got lots of great stories and wisdom to share! I'm sure all of the other instructors are amazing too because the culture among the staff at Phuket Dive Tours seems great!

I have done an Open Water Dive course with Phuket Dive Tours. David and his team are very attentive, friendly and helpful and did a great job to teach and improve your diving skills. Yet a beginner I have always felt comfortable in/under the water. I have enjoyed the two day tours with 6 dives very much. Tony is a very competent, patient and good instructor. The dives were a lot of fun. The associated boat and the crew are also very nice. Excellent service and food. Highly recommended if you wanna dive around Phuket and have a great diving experience. Go with Phuket Dive Tours at Kata Beach!

My wife & I got our SSI Open Water Diver Certificate with Phuket Dive Tours. We had an amazing time with our instructor Sean. We felt safe and any questions we had were answered. Sean was a great help to overcome any insecurities and fears we might have, and at the end of our six dives we feel comfortable to do more dives and pursue further SSI training in the near future. I did my open water diving certification with David. The prices are super fair and everything is intuitively explained. For the course material you just have to download an app. It is very convenient. Also, I stayed at one of their bungalows for a week. The bed is comfortable, there is a wardrobe, a big table you can work on, a kettle, a small fridge, and AC, the shower is hot. There are several bungalows on the property and it does feel cosy with the greenery around.The beach is not even 300 meters away.David and his wife Benz are very helpful. They arranged transport to the airport for me that was inexpensive eventhough I had only asked the night before my morning flight.

Incredible experience! First time diving in Thailand and couldn't have picked a better dive shop up use. I did the 2 dives which also included lunch and an hour snorkeling. Everyone on the boat was very helpful and informative!

Had a really good experience! Dived with Tim who was rly attentive and mindful of safety. Booked 6 dives (4 education 2 fun) for my open water cert with ssi and had lots of fun. Appreciated the charter from my hotel to Chalong pier for both boat days and the boat was rly clean with lots of food and refreshments provided. Wld reccomend!

Grateful they accommodated my Sunday request instead of the usual Monday start. 🙏The process: book your schedule online via their website > complete the course online via SSI app (note to complete it before your Day 1) > Day 1 at the pool, day 2 beach dives, and the last day, 2 boat dives resulting in my certificate.Impressed, recommended it to a friend who's now getting certified too. From start to finish it was a great experience. Dave was very helpful over text whilst we were booking and even was able to help us when we had a last minute hotel change. The dive day itself was one of the best we’ve had, very organised, very professional and safe throughout. Tim, our instructor was excellent and gave us lots of useful little tips that improved our diving even though we weren’t completing any course. The dives were great too, saw lots of sharks, seahorses and huge shoals of fish. Already organising our next visit to dive here.

My boyfriend and I decided to get certified with the open water dive course and It was an amazing experience. Our instructor, Tim, was the best. He was super pacient, with me specially, beacuse I was feeling super nervous to go diving at first. He went above and beyond, making us always feel safe and relax in every step of the way. Seamless experience through and through. I came with zero expectations, overall experience was easy and worth remembering. Timothy Mayor “Tim” made sure that all aspects of the Advanced Adventurer certification was not only informative, but fun all along. His experience and attitude were remarkable.
