Racha Yai Island 2 Dive Trip Big Boat

Join us for a daily diving adventure to Racha Yai Island, located about 20 km south of Phuket. Our trips depart year-round from Chalong Bay and include two dives at different sites around the island.

The boat ride to Racha Yai takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, giving you plenty of time to enjoy breakfast, prepare your gear, attend dive briefings, and relax before the first dive.

This trip is suitable for all experience levels, though it’s especially popular with new divers—including those doing Discover Scuba Diving or participating in beginner courses. The island offers many shallow dive spots, while more experienced divers can explore reefs that drop to around 20 meters.

Visibility averages around 20 meters, and while the coral reefs aren’t the most vibrant in the region, Racha Yai is teeming with smaller reef life. You might encounter moray eels, lionfish, scorpionfish, damselfish, garden eels, and even small barracudas—making for a lively and rewarding dive.

Overall, this is a great trip for beginners thanks to the calm conditions and easy diving.

• 07:00 am – 8:00 am Pick up from hotels with a transfer to Chalong Pier.
• 08:20 am – Depart Racha Yai Island, Pastry and fresh fruit served.
• 9:50 am – Arrive at Racha Yai Island
• 10.15am – start the first dive or go snorkeling
• 11.15 am – surface interval for lunch served on the boat
• 12:25 Second dive at Racha Yai Island.
• 14.00 Depart for Racha Yai to Coral Island
• 15.30 Arrive at Chalong Pier trasnfers back to your hotel
