SSI Open Water Diver Course:

The 3-day SSI program is a fully supervised course by your personal, dedicated Instructor.
You must be at least 10 years old, in good health, and comfortable in water too deep in which to stand.

Open Water Diver Course Modules:

Dive theory – complete and review the Knowledge development sections in the Open Water Diver Course manual; complete quizzes under the guidance of your Instructor to verify understanding; complete the course ‘Final Exam’ with 75% or more questions correct. If you choose the Free eLearning with SSI we can monitor your progress via your free diver profile.
Confined Water skills practice – Learn the dive skills you will need to scuba dive. We have our own private scuba diving pool designed specifically for open water course students – this means that there’s no commuting between the dive shop and a communal local shared pool – this cuts down and saves hours of being stuck in traffic and makes your day less stressful
Open Water skills mastery – Complete and review the diver training with 4 Open Water Dives on a Diving Boat.

3-day course schedule for you or your small group.

Day 1

9.00 am meet your instructor at our dedicated Scuba diving training facility to cover the course registration paperwork and go over the course theory.
10.00 am, your instructor will help you select the free equipment you will use for the course.
10.30 am You will start the confined water training session in our own purpose-built dive pool skills – classroom, pool finish at
2.30 pm, complete the final open water course exam.
3 pm relax for the rest of the day

Day 2 – Half Day

8.30 am meet your instructor for a safety briefing.
9.15 am first dive (minimum 40 mins) max depth 12 meters
11.00 am Second training dive (minimum of 40 mins) max depth 12 meters
11.45 return to the dive center

Day 3 – Half Day

8.30 am meet your instructor for a safety briefing.
9.15 am first dive (minimum 40 mins) max depth 12 meters
11.00 am Second training dive (minimum of 40 mins) max depth 12 meters
11.45 return to the dive centre
